This cottage is situated in the village of Hawkshead, known for its connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth.

There are several National Trust properties here, amongst the traffic free villages narrow streets and flower filled passages, and a range of pubs in which to enjoy a homecooked lunch or a quiet pint. The village is within easy driving distance of two the region s most famous lakes: Windermere and Coniston Water, each offering a range of activities both on and off the water.
