The village of Levens is to the south, home to the magnificent stately home of Levens Hall (4 miles), with the National Trust s magical estate at Sizergh just a mile further on. Heading east, the glorious Windermere is within easy reach, with Blackwell, the famous Arts and Crafts house, overlooking the nearest part of the shore (7 miles). Other Windermere based attractions include the Jetty Museum, Brockhole and Stott Park Bobbin Mill, all within 15 miles. Entering this welcoming retreat, the main open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has been tastefully decorated and furnished to provide a cosy space for you both to relax in after a fabulous day exploring the Lake District. Featuring wooden flooring and a timber beamed ceiling, the cheerful lounge has plenty of seating, a TV and picturesque country views.
