A 2 mile walk will take you to the stunning Whitbarrow National Nature Reserve, which occupies 100 hectares and offers an array of flora and fauna across its ancient limestone pavements. The village of Levens is to the south, home to the magnificent stately home of Levens Hall (4 miles), with the National Trust s magical estate at Sizergh just a mile further on.
