Lodge was very clean and comfy.. Beds were comfy too.Although we took our own essentials, a basic welcome pack would be useful.

Loved our stay at the Lodge with our 2 dogs, spotlessly clean on arrival , excellent location on the park , everything you need for a stay .. Short drive to either Windermere or Bowness. Lots to do in the surrounding area but I love the Lakes so may be biased . Would definitely book again 10/10

Nice lodge in a holiday park right on lake Windermere, location wise was perfect for getting about the Lakes and the facilities on the park were useful in entertaining a 5 year old during downtime.. Lacked a few basics like hand-soap and a hair dryer but these are not mentioned in the description so can't complain just remember to bring your own if going. Also a handy tip is to book your swimming session a day in advance otherwise you have to rely on someone not turning up to get in the pool.

The lodge was like a home from home.. It was extremely well equipped with quality items, which made us feel trusted and welcome visitors to a home not a cash cow holiday rental.

The holiday home we stayed in was lovely and was a great base for our walks around the Lake District, particularly Windermere and Coniston.. My only gripe is with the service at the main lodge within White Cross Bay. There were often queues of 15-20 people waiting to order food and drinks but the staff never reacted to meet the demand and instead seem to continue with just 2 people serving at the bar, which was annoying to say the least.

Cosy lodge and well-equipped.. Although we managed ok, it was a little squashed for 3 adults, a teenager and a dog! Living space fine but 2nd bedroom cramped. We would use the lodge again, but just not with as many of us at the one time.

Although this was a pet-friendly property, we don't have a dog and there were a rather alarming amount of long black pet hairs everywhere, behind doors, beneath wardrobe etc.. and we couldn't seem to avoid them. This will put us off choosing a pet-friendly property again, even if it's the only thing available. On the plus side, this was a fantastic location to explore the Lake District and the lodge was very well equipped to serve as a self-catering property. The boys enjoyed Treetop Nets at Brockhole and we all enjoyed the Lakeside Aquarium, Lakeland Motor Museum and the local towns of Grasmere, Ambleside and Keswick are great for shopping. The Sykes App is very good and I liked the countdown to our holiday. I also used the "nearby" to research places to visit whilst we were there.

I really couldn't find many reviews about the wifi other than this lodge was situated next to a wifi antenna.. The wifi for us was pretty bad. We had lots of clouds and rain so not sure if that contributed to the poor wifi signal. I brought along an Amazon stick but there was no way you could watch a film. YouTube also was very poor. Most people don't need wifi when in the Lake District which is fine, but we needed it for my son who has specific needs.

Perfect weekend away.. Lodge had everything we needed and more. Location is brilliant and if you want to stay on the site there is enough to keep the kids entertained. Our golden retriever loved sitting on the balconey watching the world go by in the evenings. Would stay here again.
