The built in dining table which seats four uses the floor space well and blends perfectly with the gorgeous stone floor. In the living room, sofas and armchairs arranged around the wood burner make for a cosy spot on chilly evenings, watching the Smart TV; exposed beams and a charming ceiling mounted clothes area add to the traditional feel of the property. Up the staircase from the kitchen area, you ll reach a light and airy landing with the bedrooms. The main king size bedroom has a peaceful feel with neutral decor and stripped floorboards giving it a farmhouse feel. A wonderful ornamental fireplace adds character to the room. The comfortable double bedroom has stunning views of the Wasdale Fells from the window as well as plenty of clothes storage space. From the landing, there is a step down into the bathroom which has stylish tiling, a delightful picture window and a shower over the bath. From this landing there s an open staircase that leads you up to the twin attic bedroom; since it s built in the eaves there is low head height so is better suited to children. It s spacious and bright with a huge roof window that looks out over the rolling fields and has a sumptuous carpet to sink your feet into. Outside, moving through the lane at the back of the row of cottages, an enclosed garden with a lawn and dining bench is perfect for al fresco meals; enjoy the view and the peace while the children play. There s an allocated parking space for one car outside the property as well as a lockable garage which house the machine and tumble dryer as well as room for bike storage.
