There are plenty of bird watching opportunities at the mouth of the Duddon Estuary and Hodbarrow RSPB Reserve, as well as throughout the Lake District within easy reach from Haverigg. The village is home to a range of pubs, cafés and shops, with safe beaches and children's adventure play features, making it a wonderful base for a family holiday to the stunning Cumbrian coast.
