Nestled in the heart of the Lake District, this 16th century home boasts views of the surrounding countryside. With oak beams and vaulted ceilings, there’s plenty of character here, and huge windows in the living area make the most of the scenic vistas. Outdoors, you'll have a private patio and front garden to enjoy, as well as communal grounds. Location-wise, the village of Grasmere, with its traditional inns, restaurants, and cafes, is a twenty-five-minute stroll away. And if hiking is on the itinerary, you can access some of the area’s best routes without even having to jump in the car.

*The twin bedroom can be configured as a double if required – you’ll need to request this in advance.
*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*You'll have access to the communal meadow garden here. It’s shared with the guests at a neighbouring home. You’ll also have a private front garden and patio, although the patio is open to the communal grounds so isn’t completely private.
*The garden has a small unfenced stream.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. On-site parking for three cars is available here. This home also has an electric vehicle charging point. The home is accessed via a single track lane through a working farm – there are three field gates to open and sheep and cattle may be grazing in the fields.
