Situated in the pretty town of Cockermouth, William Wordsworth s birthplace. Great location to explore the Western Fells and Lakes Grasmoor, Fleetwith Pike, Haystacks. Buttermere, Crummock Water, Loweswater and Whinlatter Forest are all close by. Why not try GO Ape or hire bikes and explore the forest trails. The shore path at Bassenthwaite runs the length of the west shore, or visit the Lake District Wildlife Park or go for a distillery tour. For something a little different why not walk an alpaca or abseil 120ft into a disused quarry. The Taste Cumbria food festival is on twice a year, usually in September and November with a huge range of local produce as well as live music which take place around the town. Enter the property and into the welcoming hallway. Off the hall, you will find a spacious bright lounge with Smart TV, gas coal effect fire, and sofas with views over the garden. The contemporary kitchen/diner is at the end of the hallway with access out to the enclosed garden. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, there is also a dining area overlooking the garden. There is a utility room off the kitchen where you will find a washing machine. Head upstairs to the first floor, from the hall and you will find two double bedrooms. There is a bathroom which a shower over the bath and WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio area. There is private parking on the drive for one car and ample unrestricted street parking.
