Within a mile you will find the nearest shop. Please note, this is a pet-free, non-smoking property. Wi-Fi, fuel, power, starter pack for open fire, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Bring your loved one for a romantic escape to Deepdale Cottage. Dalston is a settlement located in Cumbria's Carlisle district, which was formerly a part of Cumberland. The red sandstone church of St. Michael's, which dates to the 13th century, is located in the town centre, and Dalston Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed structure with character and landscape gardens that is frequently used as a wedding location. The palace of the Bishops of Carlisle, Rose Castle, is about two miles south of Dalston; it is closed to the public but may be seen from the road. With two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one World Heritage Site, numerous pedestrianised commercial areas, award-winning malls, vibrant farmer's markets, and a classic Victorian indoor market, Carlisle, a 2000-year-old city, is reachable in four and a half miles. Dalston is an excellent starting point for outdoor enthusiasts because it also offers easy access to the stunning North Pennines AONB and the Lake District National Park. Close to the Cumbrian Way - a popular walking route.
