This home caught our eye for its Lake Windermere views, best enjoyed from the terrace or one of the three living rooms. Keen chefs will appreciate the AGA and country-style kitchen, active types will love playing tennis on the courts, and the hot tub will suit every member after a day on the lake. The garden is a little steep, so you’ll need to keep an eye on little ones, but it’s a great spot to enjoy alfresco meals. There’s plenty of space here for both adults and kids – the Xbox will be a draw for younger guests. Located just a ten-minute walk from Bowness-On-Windermere, you’re perfectly placed for days on the lake.

*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to maximise your stay. There's a private driveway with an electric gate and parking. The garages are not accessible to guests.
*Barbecues are not permitted here.
*There's a tennis court here, though it's not pictured. Children will need to be supervised in the gardens due to the steep terraced garden and drop around the tennis court and decking area. If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon prior request.
*Two bedrooms offer zip and link beds which can be configured as super-king size beds upon request.
*Your host provides a welcome hamper of essentials, including tea, fresh coffee, sugar and milk along with a few extra goodies.
