Lyndhurst is a house consisting of a kitchen/diner with a dining table seating seven, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, and toaster. There is also a sitting room with a selection of books and board games, an electric fire, and a Smart TV. The bedrooms include a ground-floor king-size room with a TV, a ground-floor double room, and a family room with a double and single bed and an en-suite shower room. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed front and side patio with furniture, off-road parking for three cars, as well as an additional roadside parking permit for one car. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Enjoy a splendid retreat at Lyndhurst. Guests can find a shop in 0.1 miles, and a pub in 0.2 miles. Note: No stag/hen parties or similar.

Area
Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside with its numerous shops makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away. There is plenty to do here - cruises, boat trips, and watersports on Lake Windermere itself and the lakeside at Waterhead with parkland offering lovely views down the lake and a short stretch of beach. A walk in the other direction, following Stock Ghyll through woodland, will bring you to the entrancing waterfall of Stock Ghyll Force. Along with the Lake and the great walking on offer, Ambleside is also famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th century “Bridge House” - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District and now the National Trust Information Centre. Ambleside has plenty of restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes from great fish & chips to its two Michelin Star restaurants and all tastes in between are catered for.
