Coniston, only a short drive away, is known for its rich history and the interesting Ruskin Museum which takes visitors on a journey through the village s past. A little closer to your retreat, you can visit family attractions at the famous home of Beatrix Potter, go fishing on Esthwaite Water, or enjoy the forest paths and bike trails at Grizedale, making the location enjoyable for couples and families alike. Entering into the lounge area which has a comfy sofa and chairs surrounding the wood burner, there s a satellite TV and a Wi Fi music system; perfect for relaxing at any time of the year. Walk through into the conservatory with its panoramic views across the lake and comfy chairs to enjoy all times of the day.
