  • "Lovely and clean, decorated really nicely."

Had everything you would need. Ideal location as all the areas we visited where within a 30-40 minute drive. Just a shame about the car parking, was a building site so we struggled to park and never got to park in our dedicated parking space. The garden area would have looked nicer for some weeding, also a lot of rubbish kept blowing over from the building site/skips in the car park. But overall very lovely and would recommend.

  • "Lovely accommodation, room was perfect, but a little on the warm side."

Kitchen was well equipped but missing a very important corkscrew. Would definitely recommend as a base for touring Cornwall. Camborne, itself is not great, but not a major problem as we travelled out each day to other beautiful spots in Cornwall.

We are so glad to hear that you loved your room. Thank you for the feedback regarding the corkscrew, we will arrange for one to put into the property for future stays. We hope to see you again soon :) Best Wishes. Property Owner

  • "Good location within walking distance of amenities."

Excellent spot to go off and explore. Ample parking although cannot drive nose in to the gate had to do a 3 point turn each time. Ramp up to car park bottomed my car each time no matter how loaded the car was. Yard is overlooked by upstairs property and I did not feel comfortable to use the yard when neighbours were up on their glass balcony. I think some sort of privacy is needed. A large patio shade, sail or pergola. There is no airer or washing line so I bought my own and pegs which was easily strung up on the yard using fence posts and metal hooks already in the wall. Bath tub was a wonderful luxury for me. TV on a swivel so I could enjoy my show whilst soaking. Bath towels were fairly new and not good at drying. Could do with a taller wardrobe for long dresses and trousers but plenty of hangers and drawers. We took the dog; yard safe and secure for dogs. Not so happy about the laminate flooring but my dog would not wear doggy booties. A couple of extra runners would be good so that four legged friends can cross the room. Furniture seemed new but is flimsy. Sofa isn’t so comfy for a long period of time for more than one person. Drawers beside the bed are not solid wood but ply board so do not overfill or put in heavy items. Bed had a topper which made it more comfortable and it was certainly needed after a full day out and about. We both slept well. Windows did not lock which was a worry to me in case of Burglar Bill. There appears to be cameras facing the gate and door to the property so this assured me. Kitchen is equipped, 3 small plates/bowls, 4 large plates. Lots of cutlery and utensils. 2 sauce pans, 1 large 1 little frying pan. Couple of tin sheet pans and plastic mixing bowls. Fridge needs shutting firmly or the alarm will beep. Super sensitive smoke or heat detector in the kitchen.

  • "The property had obviously not long been refurbished so it had new, clean feel."

But, there were many negatives: 1)there was no electrical socket where the microwave was sited but when moved and plugged in it didn’t work 2)no chopping board so had to buy one 3)no log burner as described 4)washer/dryer is washer only, and no washing line, so nowhere to dry the washing 5)on arrival no hot water so had to call for an engineer 6)there is no dustbin or waste food caddy on the property, only a kitchen bin. Rubbish has to be taken to the car park and put in an overflowing commercial wheelie bin 7)garden furniture extremely uncomfortable 8)dining table inadequate for self catering, too small. As stated in previous reviews access is very difficult due to the location of this property being in a “back alley “

  • "The property was pretty much as listed."

Overall it was excellent value for money with nice modern fittings and a great location. It was nice and clean, comfortable, and really made us feel at home. Our dog loved it too. The garden was larger than we thought and was a nice space to sit in. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was fitted with most items. The welcome hamper of snacks, face masks, bath bombs, towel slippers, and shampoos was lovely and helped make the stay feel special. The company was helpful when there was a problem with the Wifi password and name at the start, which was fixed straight away. However, there were a coupe of things which could be improved: - The bath and bottom of the shower screen could have done with another wipe over. - Towels were provided, however, no bath mat. - The outside chimenea/oven was missing. I was told this would turn up a day later, but it never did, or throughout our stay, which was disappointing. - No robes were provided which were stated in the listing. - The kitchen window and door really needs some blinds for night time, as you have to walk past both to reach the bathroom. Considering there are a number of CCTV cameras outside, and neighbouring property windows and a balcony facing these windows, there is no privacy. - The bedroom of the property is located underneath a flat upstairs, and we could hear noise coming through the walls during the day. - At night, the blue Wifi light by the curtains was very bright, as was the green light by the kitchen door making the room very bright. So you may want to take ear plugs and an eye mask. Parking was fine once you had navigated the tiny road to access the property. However, to get out of the parking area, you have to just hope for the best that no car, pedestrian, or cyclist is going down the road as you have to stick the car right out on the street before the driver can see each direction. There was also a big stone and uneven ground at the entrance to access the car parking which could potentially damage a vehicle.

  • "Great place but needs more cooking stuff like steamer, roasting tray, big mirror for women to get dressed."

Under unit lights. But a fantastic place to stay well presented with all good & clean. Would recommend this place.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and I’m so happy to hear you loved our property. We will look into adding to our kitchenware and seeing what additions we could make. The property does have a full-length mirror for our guests to use when getting ready for the adventures in our amazing town. We hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "The apartment was really nicely decorated throughout with a modern kitchen and spacious bedroom including a super king bed and roll top bath."

It felt like a lot of effort had been put in. There was a good sized hamper there with most things you would need when you just arrived which was a nice touch, especially with plenty of towels. The small garden was great too with a couple of chairs and table. It was also a great location too and a short drive to some amazing beaches. The only thing that let it down was the parking area which was really hard to get into even in a mini. Also it would be nice to have blinds in the kitchen as you were looked into by the neighbours, especially if you needed to visit the bathroom in the night
