Relax and unwind in the untouched beauty of the Cornish countryside with a stay in this converted 18th-century barn. Spacious and open, the home provides ample space for a family of four to spend precious time together. An open layout and soaring vaulted ceilings allow plenty of light into the home, which manages to pull off that delicate balancing act between feeling airy in summer and cosy in winter, helped by the comfy sofas encircling the wood burner in the corner. It's bookended by two comfortable bedrooms that will provide a welcome sanctuary at the end of a day out in that fresh sea air that blows in off the North Atlantic. A south-facing terrace comes complete with a private outdoor dining area, views over the luscious landscapes, and a communal outdoor pool and hot tub. Anyone looking to keep up with their fitness regime can make use of the on-site gym or book a class with Millie at Wavehunters' Fitness. Kids are welcome to join the rounds each morning, feeding the pigs and alpacas and collecting eggs for breakfast. There's also a trampoline and zip line where they can burn off any excess energy. The picturesque beach town of Polzeath is just over a mile down the road. With its beautiful beach and stunning surf, it's easy to see why it's one of the most popular spots along this stretch of coastline. However, when you're not stretched out on the sand or riding the waves, plenty of enticing seafood restaurants serve up the day's catch.
