The village has its own surf school, which overlooks a beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows that take full advantage of the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. There are rumours that the Old Success Inn's covered well has a secret passage leading to it. Sennen was once a hotbed of smuggling activity. As a result of its long history, this charming village has retained much of its original charm, including its mediaeval church and fort as well as its few shops selling beachwear, souvenirs, and groceries.
