"We stayed in this property with friends from 25th to 29th of March Location was excellent as all tourist sites were within reasonable travelling distance ."
The area was very good, with a view of the sea from the distance We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with scones and clotted cream and jam which were very tasty. The property was immaculately clean and all utilities were in perfect working condition. It had a very good ambiance A great thanks to Sandy for posting my coat, which I was foolish enough to leave behind , without charging for the postage. We will definitely come back as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
Hi Dr Ranajit

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Penzance and our stay at Cherry Tree House."
It was a brilliant home from home, within easy access to places such as Lands End, Sennen Cove, St. Michael's Mount, Mousehole and St. Ives. The house was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It was ideal for us and our dog 'Waffle', with even a dog blanket, towels and treats left out for him - and for us! The house is within easy walking distance of the spectacular Mounts Bay (up and over the footbridge near Sainsburys), and into Penzance. The railway and bus station are nearby. Sandy the owner was a delight to communicate with, everything was very easy. The only point for constructive feedback is that we would have liked to have recycled more of our waste than was possible. (There is no food waste caddy here - though neighbour's houses have them. ) But really grateful for such a lovely place to stay. We would definitely recommend, and hope to return.
Thank you Andy for the positive feed back we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for leaving the house so clean and tidy , thank you for the constructive feed back about recycling, as you know we do a lot of recycling from the house and may look into a food caddy in the future, we hope you stay with us again in the future thanks Sandy

The kitchen is really well equipped, and plenty of space for us in the conservatory and lounge. The Christmas tree and other festive extras were really appreciated, thank you. Cherry Tree is in a great location, easy to join the coastal path and walk into Penzance, supermarkets nearby, yet the house is in a quiet cul de sac. Definitely recommend, and plan to return.

"A very well equipped holiday home."
Everything that you (& your four legged friend) could need for a very comfortable stay including a cream tea for us and treats for the pooch. Incidentally pottery dog bowls, towels and a doggie blanket are also provided which is a nice touch.
A secure garden which gets the afternoon sun is most pleasant.
Easy reach of the town, probably about 20 minute walk and 10 mins to the dog friendly beach.
We'd certainly reccomend this as a great place to stay in Penzance.

The garden was good for the dogs as it was enclosed and completely safe. The double beds were a bit small, as we are used to bigger beds but for a week it was ok. It was really nice to sit at the table in the conservatory, very bright and plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Nice location to visit all the places we wanted to in the area and leaflets in the house gave us some ideas of where to go. Thank you (and for the cream tea!).

A great location for a Penzance based holiday, with the two main supermarkets 10mins walk away, Cornish baker 5 mins and Penzance just over a mile away.
A nice welcome waiting for us on arrival, even for our two dogs.
My only request would be a slightly larger saucepan when cooking for a larger group.
Would gladly book again if in need of accomodation of this size.
Hi Brian, Thankyou for your positive feedback, it's much appreciated. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and thanks for leaving the house clean and tidy.

The garden came in handy for our 2 dogs. To find a property that has the space to park 4 cars is rare aswell. Penzance area is beautiful with st Michael's mount very close. There are loads of shops very close also. We will deffo be booking again in the future. Sandy was a great host and answered all our questions. Thank u

Nice garden and patio, plus a very nice conservatory, my only poor comment is that the TV reception was quite poor.
Hi Robert,
Thank you very much for the positive feedback, its much Appreciated.
Regarding the TV, the front room set works clear on Free view, however, due to some times having poor reception, the one in the conservatory can pixulate at times. As a note we have had another look at both TV and have changed the areal lead.

Where you’ll be staying
PENZANCE
St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes
Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, the coastline hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by a causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as it is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Isles of Scilly as well as being the harbor. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.
