  • "Beautiful holiday home on a lovely site."

A perfect place to stay as close to fabulous beaches plus dog friendly

  • "109 Bude is a lovely holiday property based on an away resorts site."

We visited with our 2 miniture daschunds who loved the lodge. No issues with dogs on the site and perfect location to get to places like Parranporth, which has a great dog friendly beach. Great outdoor tap with hot and cold to wash the dogs off aswell. The property was clean, has been well kept. Some of the kitchen knives are blunt/hard to use but know this is standard for a holiday rental. Facilities onsite was great, we got a full load of washing done at the launderette and the dryer only took 20 minutes. Lovely little bar and had a swimming pool but didn't go to this (as dogs can't be left in the lodge). May be worth the owner grabbing some site maps to keep in the lodge for future guests. The bed was a little uncomfy and the sofa's are a tad stiff. After a busy day you were glad to be sat down and it was bearable. Also a shame there was no WiFi, we are with O2 and struggled to get any good connection. Outside the property signal was okay. If we had Wi-Fi available, then we would consider staying again.

  • "This is the second time we have stayed here, we absolutely love it."

Ideal location and lots to do in the local area. I would highly recommend a stay here! We are looking to book a long weekend in October. Thanks again!

Very comfortable. Great for exploring the local area. The hot tub was a great way to relax whilst watching the sunset. We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

  • "Fabulous place on a great site."

The property was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for the stay. The hot tub was fabulous and enjoyed and again well maintained. The site is kept really well, the swimming pool was well used while we stayed. Communication from start to finish was brilliant and overall our stay was really enjoyed. Many Thanks.

  • "The caravan is absolutely lovely."

We felt comfortable and at home instantly. Despite being dog friendly, dogs are not allowed on the furniture so something to think about if yours are used to this. We had park maintenance people enter the caravan unannounced shortly after arriving which was a little unsettling as they unlocked the caravan and let themselves in. The outside deck and furniture wasn’t cleaned and we’d have appreciated extra toilet rolls, washing up liquid or dishwasher tabs to be included in the caravan as these were an extra expense that we didn’t need to take home with us. A fan would also be good for hot weather as we had to lug ours from home or would’ve needed to purchase one whilst there. No WIFI in the caravan which we knew but the phone signal is poor so this made researching places, ordering food or even setting up the sat nav difficult. The location is perfect as plenty of beaches nearby but also isn’t too far a drive to go towards St Ives/Lands End way or up towards Port Isaac and further. There’s plenty of food options and shops for groceries nearby and the caravan park itself is lovely. Overall we’d thoroughly recommend 109 Bude and we will be booking to stay here on all our future visits.

  • "Fab stay, we didn’t want to leave."

Everything was thought off, there is a notepad under the unit by the tv with all sorts of helpful information. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Extra towels are provided which was a nice touch. Very homely, already looking at dates to book again as enjoyed it so much.

  • "The loveliness caravan we’ve stayed it."

Very large, well equipped and on a lovely site where all caravan look lovely. I would definitely return! The one thing I could to find before we went was if there was an iron but there isn’t just in case you’re also trying to find out.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll be at the caravan in July myself so I'll purchase an iron and small board so if you do decide to visit again (which I hope you will) there will be one present. Thanks, Nat Property Owner

Lovely caravan with real comfy beds and has everything you need for a fantastic stay the only thing that spoiled our holiday was the hot tub we only managed to use it twice during our two weeks stay due to the temperture being so, low even though the maintance man attended and did everything he knew it was still luke warm and was unable to use as like i have stated it was too cold apart from that everything was great

  • "Excellent accommodation with everything you need to enjoy a holiday."

The hot tub was fantastic and the outdoor seating was good. The only item for improvement was the toaster had a dead element so only 2 slots worked but only a tiny inconvenience. Otherwise 100% for the accommodation and site.

Thanks for the feed back I'll be sure to get a new toaster next time I'm up :) Property Owner

  • "Towels provided we’re thinking, worn, and small and smelt of damp washing."

Adverts stated WI-FI but there was none, which was one reason we chose this caravan. No parasol supplied so was too hot to sit out. No food cupboard. No welcome pack to explain about park etc or what to do with dirty washing.

Thank you for your feedback. We have only been been letting out our holiday home since mid April so we will take this feedback on board. We hope that your had a lovely holiday. Property Owner

About the location

GOONHAVERN

Perranporth 2 miles; Newquay 6 miles; Truro 9 miles.

Goonhavern is a small Cornish village in an excellent position just two and a half miles inland from Perranporth, which lies in the heart of Poldark country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham, who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Goonhavern is an active community with a traditional inn, village shop, garden centre and children’s playground. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of their rich heritage including abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages. The nearby town of Perranporth has a beautiful sandy beach which at low tide stretches to three miles long and is overlooked by craggy rocks suitable for rock pooling. The beach is lifeguarded in summer, providing a popular family destination and hosted the 2016 British National Surfing Championships. Perranporth also offers a small selection of shops, restaurants and pubs including The Watering Hole, a unique pub situated on the sand in the middle of the beach offering live entertainment with a great atmosphere, good food and an amazing view of the sunset! The local Blue Hills museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the rich heritage of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. For a greater selection of nightlife, restaurants and attractions, why not head for the coastal resort of Newquay (6 miles) Newquay is famed for its world-class surfing and has something for every taste and age including the popular Zoo, Waterworld indoor pool and the Blue Reef Aquarium. A perfect holiday base with activities to suit everyone. Truro (9 miles) the UK's most Southerly city is a vibrant centre of shopping, farmers markets, culture and impressive architecture right in the heart of Cornwall. Centre stage is Truro Cathedral.
