Stepping through the front door, we were hit by how well the living space beautifully marries traditional cottage living with modern style – the painted exposed stonework is a particularly stunning nod to the home's former life as a barn. Hardwood floors and beamed ceilings in the bedrooms also hint at the home’s history, while the white walls and blue accents remind you that the sea is never too far away. The home’s private garden is the perfect spot to listen to the morning birdsong or to fire up the barbecue on balmier evenings. On colder nights, board games await on the sofa by the wood-burning stove. As well as the private outdoor space, the home boasts an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, ideal for picnics and walking the dog. And with so many landmarks and the South West Coast Path a short drive away, there are plenty of outdoor escapades to be had – fitting for life on the farm.
