  • "A quaint and very comfortable cottage, felt at home there."

The underfloor heating was a joy I didn't need the burner. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful if I needed it.

  • "What a delightful cottage in a beautiful setting."

We found it both well-equipped and cosy, and lovely to come back to after a hard day's tourism! The owners are very friendly and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay at Caradon Cottage. Many thanks!

Carol and David were perfect guests. They were super communicative and showed genuine interest in us, the property and the area in which it is located. They left the cottage in absolutely immaculate condition and we would be more than delighted were they to choose Caradon Cottage for a revisit to this area of Cornwall. Likewise, many thanks! • "Abigail and Nick were perfect hosts."

The property is stunning and of high quality, its layout, design and decor is beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The log burner is a great bonus on a chilly night. We would highly recommend this cottage for visitors as its location is great for exploring the area, and relaxing.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback Yogi, we really appreciate it. We've loved having you both to stay and as our very first guests too! It was great to get your input & ideas and we hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

About the location

PENSILVA

Liskeard 5 miles.

Crows Nest is a moorland village with its origins in Cornwall’s tin mining history. This part of Bodmin Moor has all the raw beauty of a wilderness with many well-known landmarks including the rugged Cheesewring Quarry, where granite was taken to build Plymouth’s Devonport Dockyard, and also the remote village of Minions, home of the famous Hurlers stone circles and Cheesewring Stones. Further west there are spectacular walks to Rough Tor and Brown Willy. There are a host of watersports available at nearby Siblyback Reservoir which is also an excellent spot for fishing. The market town of Liskeard is close by, while the famous fishing port of Looe on the south Cornwall coast is approximately 14 miles away and other noted coastal beauty spots such as Polperro and Fowey are all within close proximity.
