"A lovely cottage, very private and remote a place you can really get away from things."
It’s well positioned for beaches and nearby towns (by car). Hosts were very nice and helpful, I would stay here again
-
"Very happy with accommodation, Caretaker Ben was very happy to chat & help us with places to visit etc."
We had a lovely friendly grey cat called Grace who greeted us on arrival. Lovely scenic views, walks & not very far to coastal towns, roughly 20-30 minutes. Would visit again.

-

"If you are looking for a North Cornwall base this property is ideal, within 15 mile of the coast and within easy travel of several National Trust properties."
Accommodation and facilities could not be faulted.

"Absolutely excellent tranquil house."
Beautifully clean and looked after. The roll top bath was divine

"We stayed for a week family of four 2x teens 2xadults and a dog, very clean place has everything thing you need, big garden for the dog."
Lovely area beaches within a 20min drive. I would say that it’s quite isolated so need a car for sure very quite there so that was lovely. Kitchen however needs an oven it has a table top convention oven which is not easy to cook in. Lovely friendly cat which the kids loved.

"Brian made us feel very welcome."
The cottage was in a really peaceful and quiet location about 20 minutes from the beaches. There were 2 spacious en suites. Our girls fell in love with the balcony and Grace the cat. Fridge freezer had 3 compartments which was handy and a downstairs toilet. Would recommend.

"A perfect holiday cottage in the coutryside yet within driving distance of lots of lovely villages, beaches and coves."
It was lovely to be somewhere peaceful and relaxing and feel like we had really got away and had a holiday and change of scene. Lots of space for children and our dog to run around and play outside, we also had the bonus of meeting the owners dog and cat too which was lovely! Great for families and use of practical things like a washing machine and washing line is useful when staying for a week or more.

"This is a fabulous, well appointed holiday cottage with everything needed for a longer stay."
But with one drawback! The microwave/oven is tiny and it is impossible to cook a meal for more than one person at a time. I am puzzled why there is a full size dishwasher but not a full size oven. I had to buy an air-fryer so I could cook meals properly. Perhaps this ought to be made very clear in the description. But other than that, I would recommend it.

"A wonderful facility."
We greatly enjoyed the "English Country Setting". We felt like we were staying as guests of the "Lord and Lady" of the Manor. Comfortable in every way.

"This cottage had mice in the kitchen cupboards."
Droppings in the frying pan and cupboard floor. The owner did say he had problems and would put something down but didn't get back to us. Advertised as having an oven but just a combination microwave/ oven which was so small and took a lot longer to cook things. There was only 2 of us but accommodated 4 people and would be a struggle. No coffee machine or even cafetière. You had no control over the heating and we found it very cold. There was a small heater but really didn't warm up much. Heating was only on for an hour in the morning and four in the evening. Hot taps in the bathroom spun around. Not good enough to entice us back again.
Thank you very much for your comments. I am satisfied that the problem raised in terms of the rodent issue at the property was addressed by myself personally at the time which eliminated the concerns moving forward which I did provide assurances at the time. Moving forward from this, there are preventative measures in place in a bid to reduce the likelihood of this happening again especially given the location of the property. You would be pleased to learn that I have since purchased a cafetiere for our guests based on feedback. Given the location and time of the year, I have not received any concerns surrounding the adequate heating provided at the property. I like to ensure all of my guests are comfortable and warm when staying. Additional heating is provided should you wish to use it. When you advised at the time you were a little on the chilly side, I did in fact increase the temperature for you. The tap in the bathroom was fixed immediately as soon as it was reported to me. I am sorry if the stay did not match your expectations on this occasion but like to express my gratitude once again for your feedback. Best wishes, Brian Property Owner

"This holiday cottage is in the most beautiful rural location where you could not fail to relax and enjoy the stunning countryside."
The place has been fitted out to an excellent standard , the bedrooms are stunning, spacious and have plenty of storage. The kitchen whilst cosy pretty much has everything you need to self cater. The owner is friendly and very accommodating and for dog lovers it is perfect. We would definitely book again.
