Many thoughtful touches throughout from homemade flapjacks and freshflowers to the provision of packets of tissues. So many things to enjoy such as the space, the stable door, the downstairs toilet, plenty of crockery and cutlery, the washing machine and tumble drier which came in handy after a showery week in Wales. Audlem offers many convenient eateries and an open all hours Co-Op. which are all within a few minutes walk. We would recommend the Indian Takeaway and the Shroppie Fly. Julia and Sarah obviously aim and succeed in providing a very personal service. The only thing I did find rather challenging was the electric hob but that's mainly because I am used to cooking on gas.

Excellent location.. Friendly considerate owner fully aware of conditions regarding current covid 19 outbreak. Village setting and local shops were helpful considerate and friendly to newcomers. Local pubs, food stores, chip shops catered for holiday industry and especially so during Covid 19 outbreak. Plenty of walks from the cottage with exceptional views. This cottage and village of Audlam exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful week in Audlam and weather was warm and sunny! The Shropshire Canal within walking distance and seating areas to enjoy the busy canal. Congratulations to the owners who have provided and idyllic property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Audlem.. A very friendly welcome from Sarah and the whole village. The cottage is in the heart of the village with great pub across the road. The village is small but has everything you could want. I have some mobility problems and found the stairs difficult at times, but if you can manage stairs it's fine and canal walks not too steep. The owners do everything to make you feel comfortable. Wonderful. Thank you

A wonderful house in a great location.. Owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. One of the best holiday lets we've ever had - beautifully furnished and equipped, and absolutely spotlessly clean. Audlem is a great place to stay, with lots of places to visit in the area. We really enjoyed our week.

The cottage was lovely.. Everything to hand. Home away from home. Very well located. Grand Union Canal runs through village. While away the hours on a pleasant sunny day, watching people negotiate the locks whilst sitting outside a pub, refreshing drink in hand. What more could you ask for in a holiday to re-charge your batteries. The bells of the Church opposite the property chimed quarterly, half hourly and on the hour. We found it charming quintessentially English.

Lovely cottage & the location is superb.. Everything we were expecting from the cottage description was as it should be or better. I believe the criteria of "was it a good holiday" is "would you return". the answer is a very definite yes - very enjoyable & we do hope to go back - possibly this September.

Wonderful welcome by one of the owners, with a lovely touch of providing tea, coffee, milk and cake for our arrival.. The flowers were a nice touch too. There is everything you could want in the village, including picturesque walks along the canal. It was a very restful place to stay.

We arrived and was met by Sarah who showed us around our beautiful holiday home.. The house is decorated to a very high standard (inc beautiful Laura Ashley Towels) and the house was completely spotless. The view from the window overlooking the fabulous church is gorgeous and the church bells made me feel very relaxed. The property is in a gorgeous village which is accessible on foot. With some lovely restaurants near by. If possible you really should try afternoon tea at the cafe called Home Made and visit the local butcher. Thank you Sarah and Julia. Our holiday was amazing and we will be visiting again.

We spent two lots of two weeks at the cottage and loved everything about it.. We really felt welcomed by the owner with milk in the fridge and homemade biscuits on our arrival. The cottage was equipped with quality furnishings and included everything you would need for a stay. The village is delightful with a supermarket, several pubs and the canal which flows through the town. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage as a “home away from home”.

Very good cottage in a lovely village.. Cottage is of a very high standard, very well equipped. Very friendly owner. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Lots to see and do around Audlem, but staying in the village and enjoying the Canal with the 15 locks and many boats is a pleasure too. Relaxing, quiet position of the cottage.
