Within 1.3 miles you will find a shop and within 1.8 miles, a pub and please note that one well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Smithy Cottage is a fabulous base, ideal for exploring all that North Wales has to offer.

Wrelton is a small pretty village just three miles from the historic market town of Pickering. Its stone-built cottages are clustered around two village greens where the annual summer fete is held every August. Although the village has no shops, it has an excellent pub which serves meals and is the hub of the village. Surrounded by the stunning countryside of the North York Moors, Wrelton offers great walking from the doorstep. Nearby are the market towns of Helmsley and Malton, and just three miles away are the steam railway and Pickering Castle. There is a wealth of places to visit from this great base including Castle Howard, the historic city of York with its famous Minster and the fishing port of Whitby on the east coast.
