With the calm sea just a few minutes' walk away and green pastures spanning for miles around you, this peaceful getaway is a dream. Built in 1998, this home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A flickering fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a bubbling jacuzzi in the bathroom, and it's just a five-minute drive from local amenities. Time stands still in this cabin, it's a far cry from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here, you can breathe in the fresh air, wake yourself up with morning swims in the sea, and explore quaint towns and fishing villages. Mornings spent here are particularly blissful. Enjoy your coffee on the veranda before heading down to the water, where the only sounds you hear are from the seagulls. When it's time to get out and explore, there's so much to see. Funen is a beautiful, green island, surrounded by other, smaller islands – hopping around the Archipelago of South Funen is one of the best things to do here. You'll learn about small communities and experience their daily life, while exploring practically untouched places. But island hopping is certainly not the only thing to do here, you could spend days visiting the island's charming villages and enjoying sweeping vistas from hilltops. The best way to do this is by bike, you can either bring your own or hire one from Svendborg, a twenty-minute drive away. Svendborg is also a destination within itself, teeming with waterfront cafes and restaurants. However you spend your day, you'll love coming home to your cosy cabin by the water. Get the fire going and enjoy homecooked meals around the dining table, before cuddling up on the sofa with a nice glass of wine.
