Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this magical corner of Denmark, where lush forests and gleaming lakes meet the sandy dunes and beaches of the Baltic Sea. Here, amidst the stunning landscape shaped by the retreating ice of the Glacial Age, you’ll find this lovely cottage, an ideal place for a truly restful family holiday. Originally built in 1964, and fully renovated in 2020, this modern home still holds on to some of its vintage charm. Arrive to be greeted by a welcoming wooden exterior set off beautifully against the green of the surrounding forest and the blue of the sea in the distance. Even before going inside, you’ll no doubt find yourself enchanted by this place – the terrace boasts instantly calming views and is the perfect spot for enjoying family feats and evening drinks. There is even a grill for organising barbecues on those balmy summer nights. The inside welcomes you with Nordic elegance and simplicity – there’s plenty of comfy sofa space to kick off your shoes and relax, and for added warmth, there’s a wood burner too. Rustle up lovely meals in the bright kitchen and share them with your loved ones at the dining table, or better still, out on the terrace. After a good night’s rest in the comfy beds, head out to explore: there’s more than enough to do in the area to keep the whole family happy. From idyllic beach days and cycling trips to the beautiful city of Aarhus, with its many cultural attractions, located an hour’s drive away.
