Historically, Jutland might be known for its dramatic naval war, but today it’s all about peace. In fact, Vejers Strand is so quaint and quiet, that its recent population count was under thirty – peaceful enough for you? A fifteen-minute stroll from the pristine shores of Vejers Beach, this traditional wooden house offers high-end Danish style in a sublime setting. We love the typical white-framed windows and doors of this home, creating a postcard-ready scene alongside organic, sandy terrain and lush lawns. From here, pop round to the patio and serve up smørrebrød with a glass of white at lunch. While you dine, the playground is a treat for the kids, keeping them occupied on a sunny afternoon before you pack up to head to the beach. Upon return from the breezy shores, this house is made for relaxation. Make the most of the Scandi lifestyle in your sauna or relax your muscles in the whirlpool tub. And our favourite part of all – the grand living space. Find an inspiring mix of features such as wooden ceilings, a lofty apex roof, huge glass doors, and mid-century furniture. And with a wood-burning stove to top it all off, this bright and airy space becomes a hygge, firelit retreat by night.
