The little ones will be desperate to get outside and play on the trampoline, so you can make your way to the sun loungers. Older children will appreciate the loft room with its own TV. In classic Danish style, there’s a sauna, and the master bathroom has a whirlpool bath – leaving here feeling well-rested is practically a guarantee.

In the late afternoon, fire up the barbecue for an early-evening alfresco feast. Watch the sun set over the dunes as you sip chilled drinks or toast marshmallows over the ashes from the barbecue.
