Fifty minutes by car from the vibrant city of Aarhus, Boeslum is a tiny settlement on Jutland’s east coast, among wild and organic seaside landscapes. It’s a paradise for hikers, keen fishers, and most importantly – people looking for a true sense of unspoiled serenity. A seven-minute walk from breezy Boeslum Beach, this cabin offers exactly that. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a postcard-perfect scene of Danish, woodland tranquility. This wooden home is painted in a pale blue that’s reminiscent of the rolling waves nearby, as well as the skies on a misty, forest morning. We love the vast garden (around a quarter of an acre) where you can laze on the grass with smørrebrød and a chilled beer. When the sun moves around, you can move with it. You’ve got a choice of two more outdoor terraces, where you’ll also find a barbecue for a wholesome dinner of freshly grilled fish. And after hours, stepping into your cosy abode feels like coming home. White wooden walls and ceilings create a rustic vibe with a fresh and modern edge. Pine floors and wicker furniture continue on this theme, and you’ll love ending the day on the plush corner sofa, alone with your thoughts – with no TV, it’s truly a return to nature.
