Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

The Danish concept of hygge is hard to describe, but we think this charming home has that cosy feeling in spades. Multiple plush seating areas invite you to kick back and relax as the wood-burning fire crackles – the perfect respite after a wander along the coast. The quaint garden looks like something out of a storybook, with its craggy rock paths, blooming flowers, mushroom-shaped decorations and small water feature. When the sun is shining, we can't think of a better spot to savour a glass of Stauning Whisky and drink in the fresh air – if the weather is less than ideal, the covered terrace or nautical-themed summer house will do nicely, too. Add in the private sauna (it seats up to six) and the jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom and we think this lovely hideaway is a gem. The location is great, too. The Ringkøbing Fjord is famous for its sandy beaches, lush nature reserves and attractive coastal villages – one of which is Hvide Sande, about half an hour by car. Family-friendly Bork Havn Strand is a thirteen-minute stroll away when you fancy a beach day, and we also suggest making an excursion to Skjern Enge Nature Reserve twenty-five minutes away, especially if you're keen on birdwatching.
