The cabin dates back to 1976, but it has been thoroughly modernised for contemporary visitors. Step inside, and you'll find a cosy space with wood panelling and plenty of natural light flooding in through the huge windows. On chilly evenings, you can cook up your favourite dishes in the kitchen before curling up beside the wood-burning stove with a good book. Or, if you're staying during the summer months, head outside for a barbeque on the terrace while the kids have fun in the private garden.

An eighteen-minute walk will take you down to Sømarken Strand, where you can stroll along the sand and admire the gorgeous views. Golfers can drive over to the local course, just six minutes away, while hikers can hit the trails and explore the "The Pearl of the Baltic". And, you can drive to the other end of the island in just forty minutes to visit Hammershus Castle, a ruined historic site perched on the clifftop.
