Seclude yourself amidst lush greenery and the beautiful countryside of the North Zealand area with a stay at this charming wooden cottage. Located just a short stroll from a gorgeous sandy beach, this little slice of rustic heaven is an ideal spot for a relaxing family holiday. Arrive to be greeted by a cheerful and instantly calming scene: a lovely wooden exterior, with large windows, set against the vibrant green of the surrounding forest. The house was originally built in the 1970s, and although thoroughly renovated in 2017, it still retains its charming vintage vibe. Step inside and let yourself be embraced by the cosiness of the light-filled space, with ample room for lounging about and relaxing. We love the high ceiling with its white wood beams, and the stylish light fixtures which add to the overall effect of Nordic elegance. There are also plenty of lovingly selected pieces dotted about, with unique art prints, colourful cushions, and handsome shelving. On chillier evenings snuggle up by the wood burner and enjoy an evening of wine and conversation by the fire. The bright kitchen might be small in scale but you’ll find everything you need to rustle up delicious meals, to be enjoyed by the whole family at the handsome dining table. Get a good night’s sleep in the comfy beds and awake refreshed and ready for a new day of adventures. Have your morning coffee out on the terrace admiring the tranquillity of the countryside around you. You’ll find the area rich in natural beauty, with picturesque lakes and vast forests, idyllic sandy beaches, and high cliffs. You can also drive to some of the nearby towns for a taste of local culture and craftsmanship, and the beautiful capital city of Copenhagen lies only an hour’s drive away.
