The Yellow Brick Road is truly the best of both worlds. Found by the lakes (one of our favourite spots to go for a walk), you’re within walking distance to Nørrebro’s arty, hipster scene, as well as Indre By, Copenhagen’s city centre. The building itself dates back to 1842, so expect lots of charming period features – we found the exposed brick wall particularly mesmerising. On top of all that, Jerrod is also a lovely host – excited to welcome you to his home, you can rest assured he’s thought of everything to make your stay perfect.
Home truths: *Be prepared to climb some steps – it’s on the third floor with no lift
*We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited
*It sleeps five guests, but one of them would be on a sofa bed in the living room
*It’s worth noting that the bed in bedroom two is a murphy bed
