The Close-Up is on the small side, but it’s got lots of cool decorative elements, striking colour combinations, and sleek white floors. Located in a quiet backyard to a street packed with beautiful classicist and Rococo architecture, this studio home’s revamped interiors feel like a modern hideaway in a historic part of Copenhagen. The kitchen is basic and not suitable for cooking elaborate meals, but who says you even have to cook when you’re close to gems like Bistro Royal, Geist and Havfruen.
Home truths: * When we visited, we noticed some scuff marks on the walls
* Some of the furniture has minor stains
* You’ll have to climb into bed as there's little room between the bed and the wall
* The kitchen isn’t fully-equipped and is for preparing light meals only
* This home is located on the second floor with no elevator, so be prepared for some up and down
* Guest 3 would be on a futon in the living room
* There’s only a half wall in between the kitchen/living room space and the bedroom – not so great if you're looking for privacy
* There’s not a lot of room for unpacking in this home
