Once the seedy underbelly of the city, Vesterbro is now famous for its cafes, bars, and boutiques. It’s hard to imagine a place more indicative of Danish culture, and similarly, it’s hard to imagine somewhere that fits as well with the Danish stereotypes of high design and hygge as Poetry’s Nature. The natural light, white walls, and wooden floors lend a simplicity to the environment, which is punctuated by framed posters advertising local exhibitions.
Home truths: *There's no lift in the building, so you'll have to take the stairs to the fifth floor
*There are no bedside tables or reading lamps
*A major railway line is a block away, it's possible you'll hear some of the trains as they go past
