Or, make the ten-minute drive to the UNESCO town of Trogir, just along the coast.

While away days at your villa by the poolside, or perhaps cooking alfresco at the built-in stone barbecue while the group enjoy sunset cocktails in the sea-blue outdoor lounge. You can spot the sea as you unwind on private terraces and patios, peeping through the palms and greenery. Sunsets are particularly good from the wrap-around terrace on the first floor.

Inside, vibrant modern artworks pop against stone-grey walls in the open living area. If you’re not using the summer kitchen outside, the slate-grey modern kitchen inside has you covered for every meal of the day. Throughout the villa, glass sliding doors open up to terraces and balconies, from bedrooms and lounges, so you’re never more than a few footsteps away from a moment in the sun.
