Overlooked by verdant hillsides, this home is the ideal spot if you're hoping to slot back into a slower pace of life for a bit. Afternoons can be passed here doing nothing more laborious than floating about in the pool — which comes with inbuilt seating and hydromassage jets — before drying off naturally on one of the loungers. When it comes to dinner time, there's an organic vegetable patch at the end of the garden and guests are free to pick some produce, which can be roasted on the charcoal barbecue and served up on the covered terrace. The home itself is dominated by natural materials such as stone and wood, and this lends to the back-to-basics feel of your getaway. That being said, you'll still have all the modern conveniences at hand, from air conditioning to a coffee machine.
