With more than 300 years of history, this beautiful home in the heart of the Old Town quarter of Rovinj has enthralled more than its fair share of guests. The ancient fishing port, known for its brightly painted buildings, cobbled streets and the Baroque church on its hilltop, folds around it so it's quite a surprise that this place has such stunning views over the water. Several storeys high, the vistas just keep getting better and better the higher you climb. One of the best spots for enjoying them is the balcony just off the kitchen on the fourth floor, where you can gaze out to the island. And the top floor bedroom, right up in the exposed rafters, is the prime place for enjoying sunsets across the sea. Stylishly modernised and decorated in a smart, thoughtful way, it's a high-end home from home which is bound to have you relaxed and living like a local in no time. It even has a few secret weapons in case you're finding it hard to chill out. How about a workout and a sauna each morning, and a couple of glasses in the wine cellar in the evening?
