Du Coq à l’Haan bright appartment Apartment 2

The apartment was basically nice and perfectly adequate for our needs. The kitchen equipment was a bit sparse (few pots or bowls, hardly any cooking utensils). The sliding door in the kitchen leading to the small balcony was broken/couldn't be closed. Perhaps unusual for German guests: While the toilet was separate from the shower and bathroom, there was no hand basin in the shower ;-)

The previous tenant's trash... in the kitchen, no vacuum cleaner on site, worn, stained furniture. One night, a blind fell from the ceiling in the bedroom. With a little effort and cleanliness, this could be a nice apartment. Apparently, none of the complaint emails arrived (the previous ones did), and we were fobbed off on site, with the staff blaming each other and the landlord. The offer to have the apartment cleaned came two days before departure.

It was a spacious and practical apartment with clean and good beds. It quickly became clear to us that there was smoking in the apartment and we find that a minus. There was an unpleasant smell.
