Giggi Suite Sölden, Tyrol

Exelent location and nice hotel. Friendly welcome. Every thing works. But the price increase the last year, is a bit steep.

Well-kept house, very friendly staff, beautiful sauna area, perfect ski cellar, actually only 50m from the slopes. If our apartment had been bigger, I would book here again, but it was a bit too small for us with 4 more or less adults in 28 square meters. For families with 1 or 2 small children it would be maybe OK. However, even then you shouldn't really expect a real cooking and eating facility from the "cupboard kitchen" and the coffee table.

We have been to Soelden for 8 years , out of which to Johanna for last four years, it speaks of our rating. Skiing perfect, accommodation rather modest, to reach the destination might be tricky in case of bad weather, shopping not at hand, but we are notcoming for shopping but skiing.Johanna provides sauna, which is marvelous. Sorry, some other points at the end:– sauna services should provide blankets, besides towels.– 1 and 1/2 rolls of WC paper for three accommodated persons is not enough for one week. More was not available inspite of we asked for– to provide already used and partly filled soap and shampontubes in bathroom is mistake.Provided WiFi was weak. signal on 0 floor was usefull, on other floors moreless zero.
