Part of a traditional Austrian farmhouse in Schwendau, this apartment puts right in the heart of some of the country's most beautiful landscapes. Step out onto the balcony and gaze out at the mountains beyond — you'll soon see we're not exaggerating. Turn your attention back to the home and you won't be disappointed, either. The style is more contemporary than you might expect from the building's exterior, with wooden floors, a sleek minimalist kitchen and a pair of hotel-standard bathrooms. In the building, there's ski storage and boot heaters, which raises the question — how far away are the slopes? The answer is not very. In fact, the ski bus stops a mere ten metres from the apartment and will take you up to Ski Zillertal 3000 in no time at all. If you're visiting during the warmer months, you might like to take advantage of the building's stables and go for a horse trek through the picturesque region.
