1'000 - 1'820 m a.s.l. >>The small community is situated in the midst of the mountain world of Niederen Taurn at the end of Donnersbach Valley and is rightly called "Erholungsdorf" (recreational village). Liezen 33 km, Schladming approx. 50 km. The resort has a number of events such as wind instrument concerts, 'Alm' festival, hut evenings and 'mountain' fairs. The game reserve, the castle Trautenfels (18 km) is worth seeing. Bowling, shooting and crossbow. Small, family-friendly mountain village with 300 inhabitants, in a secluded position, 50 km south-east from Schladming. In the resort: shops, restaurant, bar, museum, attractions. Climbing, hiking. Kids' club Kinderschatzsuche, Gipfel - Barfußweg (kids') animation, toboggan run. Access: motorway A9 - Graz, exit number 69 "Liezen" 30 km from Irdning - Donnersbachtal. Summer

The resort has lovely rambling areas in Niedern Tauern and walking ways. 1 double chair lift which takes you to the Riesneralm, swimming and fishing in the lake, 2 tennis courts, paragliding. Golf, riding 16 km. Rafting on the Enns (18 km).

Winter

With the family-friendly Riesneralm ski area with a total of 3 chairlifts and 1 children's ski lift and around 25 km of groomed slopes, the resort offers slopes for every level. Ski rental, ski and snowboard school, ski kindergarten. 26 km of cross-country ski trails, cross-country ski school, ski touring, curling rink, natural toboggan run, winter hiking. Total 30 km ski runs.

problém byl nalézt ubytování, protože penzion se jmenuje HOHL a ne Dindl und bua, což je název ubytovacího pokoje-studia. Vzdálenost od stanice lanovky je 100 m a ne 400 m.

Prima appartementje met alles wat je nodig hebt. Pro: Klein maar alles wat je nodig hebt en met name de prachtige natuur en rust. Contra: Totaal geen zonnetje op het balkon en restaurants of plekje om wat te drinken nauwelijks aanwezig of niet open.

In der Nebensaison ist es leider sehr tot in dem Ort. Abends mal im Ort Essen gehen ist quasi nicht möglich. Man muss sich also jeden Abend was kochen. Dafür sollte die Küche etwas besser und vor allem mehr ausgestattet sein. Ansonsten war alles super.Modern eingerichtet, mit dem Stil der Berglandschaft kombiniert. Vermieter hat direkt auf die Reklamation der Kaffeemaschine reagiert.Allerdings haben wir dadurch die Kaution nicht vollständig zurück bekommen, obwohl wir sie nicht beschädigt haben.

The accommodation was easy to find and very well located. The apartment is comfortable and quite large. The hosts were kind and helpful. The ski slope is a two-minute walk away. We didn't miss anything while we were there. We had a great time there. We would love to come back.
