It’s a fifteen-minute drive to the nearest ski lift at Simonhöhe, if you want to hit the slopes and the town centre of Sankt Veit an der Glan is seventeen kilometres away. But it’s all about immersing yourself in nature here, with nothing but the scent of pines and cheep of birds in the trees. Onsite stables can house your own horse, and there are paths for horseback adventures.

You can count the knots in the pinewood as you fall asleep in cabin-style bedrooms. The open living room has a projector for family movie nights and a foosball table for a bit of evening fun. Curl up on the sofa with one of the books from the miniature library of holiday reads. Outside, you can enjoy your green surroundings on the private, furnished patio.
