Red Kite Cottage is an end-terrace cottage in the village of Howey near Llandrindod Wells. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a double and a twin room. There is also a bathroom, a sitting room with a dining area and a kitchen. Outside there is a lawned garden with a patio area and off road parking for one car. Red Kite Cottage is a pretty cottage which would suit a family or a group of friends who are looking to explore this area of Mid Wales. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

A popular Welsh village set on the outskirts of the spa town of Llandrindod Wells, with a welcoming pub and Thai restaurant. Howey is perfectly located on the main road between historic Builth Wells and Llandrindod, with wonderful walking and cycling routes easily accessible, along with a local golf course and lakes and other days out easily discovered within a short drive.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

We really loved Red Kite cottage, the location was stunning, loved the quiet and the dark skies, no light pollution, the cottage it self was excellent, bed was really comfy, loved the chickens and kittens on site as well, can't wait until next year to book again, loved the Welsh cakes the owners left us to on arrival..

We enjoyed a relaxing three nights in Red Kite cottage despite very wet weather one day.. It was comfortable and cosy and the owner was very friendly and helpful, leaving us Welsh cakes and milk to enjoy when we arrived.The kitchen was well equipped. We didn't use the outside because of the weather, but could see it would have been lovely to sit outside looking at the view of trees and fields with sheep. The only minor negative was the total lack of hanging space in the bedrooms for clothes. We would book the cottage or one of the adjoining ones if we were in that area again.

We had a wonderful week at Red Kite Cottage.. Our Collie enjoyed the large enclosed garden. A great base for walkers as near the Elan Valley which has many walks.

Lovely calm situation with excellent walks and drives around and chickens on the driveway :) Flowers and wine from the owner on arrival were a very welcome sight after a long drive, and Tracey and Kevin could not have been more helpful.. Highly recommended and great for our dog too as the garden is fenced.

The cottage was really lovely, very clean.. The owner was very friendly and had left milk in the fridge and teabags so we could make a drink as soon as we got there. There was also a beautiful vase of flowers on the table and some welsh cakes and beer as a welcome gift, which was a really nice, unexpected touch. The garden was fenced off which meant we could leave the patio doors open for our dog to go in and out as she liked. All in all a very peaceful, relaxing place to stay, would recommend.
