Good food next door.. Good location for The Potteries and Peak District. Nice views back of cottage. Welcoming landlord.

Beautifully appointed cottage, ideally located in a quiet village next door to a lovely pub which did excellent food at reasonable prices.. The owner, Steve, was extremely helpful and the rations he had laid in (tea, coffee, milk, cereals, butter, cheese, bread etc) were very welcome as it took some pressure off immediate shopping! This cottage is most probably the best holiday let we have used and I would recommend it to anyone to wishes to sample the delights of North Staffs and South Cheshire. Wonderful experience.

We have a lovely stay in Post Office Cottage.. Beautiful walks straight from the house as well as being a great base for visiting places further afield.

A first class place to stay.. WE stayed a week and will definitely return. The cottage and the personal touches of the host were simply brilliant. Go to pub next door - especially for the steak nights on Tuesday & Wednesday. Highly recommended.

The cottage was exactly as described, but it was the added extras which really made the stay special.. Having milk, bread, cheese etc there so that we didn’t need to go food shopping immediately, knowing that if we had any questions or issues there were friendly staff on hand. That made it special. The booking process was simple and communication from Sykes was good. The cottage was cosy, traditional but with all mod cons, a lovely comfortable bed and a power shower, good WiFi too. It really was a home from home! My partner and I both agreed that we would more than likely return again in the future.
