All in all a lovely place to stay. But a couple of points to take into consideration aswell. Views are amazing. The house itself is very well equipped. Kitchen has more pots & pans than you can even imagine which was great for us as we came as a family of 7. Towels supplied. Separate washing machine &’tumble drier- none of this washer drier all in one rubbish! Set out across 3 levels so lots of stairs & no good for anyone who struggles with this. On arrival we noticed that there was a fair amount of dust around the place- around the TV’s, mantelpiece. For a 4 star accommodation it was a bit disappointing in that respect. The house gets very cold, very quickly. Lots of extra heaters around the place which yes ok is useful for extra heat but we then realised that it was due to the majority of the central heating radiators being purposely turned off. Radiators that did work need bleeding desperately. Kids had to sit with jumpers on & blankets over them on a couple of the nights. Wifi keeps dropping in & out, not working consistently. Id give the whole experience here a 7/10. Maybe I’m being picky but the few things mentioned above could have been avoided to make the stay a little more enjoyable- especially as the cost of it was over £1300.

We arrived to be overjoyed that the house was just as predicted on the website, if not better.. Well maintained and very clean with lovely soft coastal décor. The rear decking was a joy to relax on and watch out over the Sea and the Town of Mevagissywas very pleasant. I did have cause to call the owner and she rectified a very simple issue and it did not impact on our stay in any way. She was very pleasant and helpful . The Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, Microwave etc and not once did we feel at a loss of anything to do locally. Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan being close by just added to the House's convenient position. Would definitely recommend this premises to friends and family. Only one issue which was beyond the owners control, the useful information does say that there is recycling points at Tesco or Asda in Saint Austell, which was correct a few months ago, however, when we tried to do this on our way home, we were told by Store staff there that this facility has been removed and recycling has to go to a central area in St Austell but it closed at 4 pm each day. But this was no ones fault, just thought it would be useful to mention for the owner to update the information board. I would return every season if Annual Work Leave allowed! Thank you Jane and Sykes cottages . One of the best holidays I have ever had.

Took my family and friends for a weeks stay at this lovely property. Beautifully maintained inside with soft coastal theme. Fabulous view of the town harbour outside in the decked area. Close to the town and yet quiet and peaceful to retreat to for sleep. Large well equipped kitchen and full washing and drying facilities in the garage utility area. Dog friendly and well positioned for walking . Do bear in mind it’s a hilly town and there are two flight of stairs at the house but we loved this as it kept us fit and slim. Even had lovely neighbours. We were sad to leave. Would book again. Highly recommended for family group .

We loved staying in the Pink House, the view is just sensational.. The house has everything you need, nice comfy beds, good quality furniture etc. Mevagissey is lovely, lots of places to eat and drink without being too overcrowded with tourists. Neighbours were super friendly and helpful. My only niggle is, considering this is high end accommodation, it would have been nice to have enough dishwasher tablets and toilet roll to last the week.

The Pink House is high-end self-catering accommodation in good condition with high specification facilities.. When researching on Google Maps the property is located in typical suburban residential street but don't be fooled by its residential street location, the views from the living and sleeping areas are directly over the harbor and you can watch the boats going to and fro. In addition there are wide vistas of the sea and coastline all the way to Fowey, simply wonderful. You're only 10 minutes walk to the harbor with its many pubs and eateries, and access to the coastal path, for a week's stay you can easily park your car when you arrive and not use it until departure. A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

The view from this property was amazing, could easily spend an hour just looking at the harbour view.. Pity you have to use the tiny streets of Mevagissey to reach the property, would hate to attempt the traffic run in August.
