"Phileas", 2-room apartment 46 m2 on 1st floor. Tasteful furnishings: living/dining room 18 m2 with satellite TV (flat screen), CD-player and hi-fi system. 1 room 15 m2 with 1 double bed (180 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen 9 m2 (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. Gas heating. Facilities: iron, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Smoke alarm, fire extinguisher. The bookable additional room (16 m2, extra) for 2 people is on the same floor and has 1 double bed (150 cm, length 200 cm), satellite TV (flat screen) and a seat as well as a bathroom / toilet (5 m2). A baby and / or toddler as an additional person is not allowed.

Historical 2-family house, built in 1560. In the centre of Schwalenberg, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, in the heart of the city, traffic calmed area, 100 m from the stream. For shared use: natural garden 500 m2, meadow 500 m2, orchard 500 m2, courtyard. Barbecue, public parking on the road. Shop 400 m, grocery 4 km, supermarket 5 km, restaurant 200 m, bakery 400 m, café 4 km, bus stop "Steinheimer Strasse" 200 m, railway station "Steinheim" 6 km, outdoor swimming pool 6 km. Walking paths from the house 100 m, children's playground 300 m. Nearby attractions: Externsteine 26 km, Hermannsdenkmal 27 km, Welterbe Corvey 28 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Schiedersee 6 km. Please note: car not advisable. Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. The owner lives in the same residence. Natural garden with grapevines. The owner has his own vineyard and runs a wine trade. In the yard in front of the house there is a paved forecourt (100 m2) with a small public restaurant for tasting wines from mainly German countries. Wine tastings, hikes and singing together can be booked on request and for a fee, as well as an in-house laundry service (washing / drying / ironing).

A lot has already been written about the apartment/furnishings. I can only agree. Everything is more than enough, including reading material for a whole year :-) We arrived a little later, having arranged this by telephone beforehand. The reception went far beyond friendly - you can definitely call it friendly. With the landlords who live in the same house, you will warm up within minutes and feel comfortable from the first moment. I'll come back!

I went there to take some rest, hike and some time to myself. It was a wonderfully furnished apartment in which I felt very comfortable. The environment is great and there are many easily walkable hiking trails.

We found a very clean and tastefully furnished apartment in which nothing was missing. The hosts are very nice and attentive. Fresh groceries for a first breakfast were stored in the fridge. Everything went very easily. We'd love to go back. Definitely recommended.

The apartment is bigger than in the pictures, cozy, very clean, very well equipped and with a very nice view. The owners are very hospitable and do everything to make you feel at home. Downstairs they have a small-scale restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal with wine accompaniment. It is a beautiful area where you can walk and completely relax.

Well equipped apartment with a beautiful view. I have never had such a well-equipped kitchen in any vacation home. Digital scales, meat grinder, hand blender, roaster... From here you can start beautiful hiking tours or drive a few kilometers to explore the attractions of the Teutoburg Forest. The landlords are very friendly people, with whom you can also enjoy a good drop in the in-house wine bar.

You feel very welcome. Beautiful apartment accessible via an internal staircase. If you want to eat in their restaurant and wine bar that is possible. There is no menu card. A family village meal is easily created. Village is small compact and picturesque half-timbered building.

Nothing is missing in the lovingly furnished holiday home. Our landlords are great people who have an open ear for all questions. When we arrived, breakfast the next morning was already taken care of. A basic set was ready in the fridge. A delicious wine is available downstairs in the shop at very reasonable prices. We can only recommend the accommodation to everyone.
