Lovely location overlooking the estuary, as in the photos.. The cottage was a lot more spacious than we realised. Quiet and lovely area. 25 min walk down to main town. Great for a family.

My family and I enjoyed a week during August in this beautiful place.. The cottage is easily in the most spectacular location I have ever stayed in. The views from all the windows are stunning and we did not want venture far during our week... although the countrside around offers many more delights. The cottage is clean, well-maintained and cosy, a real joy to spend precious family time in. It has a lovely warm and welcoming feel and is surprisingly spacious... we were a party of eight adults with three small dogs and we never felt cramped. The beds and furniture are comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The huge balcony has a range of outdoor furniture to suit all and a bbq for wonderful evenings watching the tide change in the estuary and the sun set while sharing food and wine into the darkness of night, and enjoying the amazing night sky and pretty lights across the bay. I cannot wait to return.

Just got back after 3 day staycation, could not have asked for anything more, spotlessly clean with everything you would need (apart from a tray to serve tea to granma on the deck) views are amazing, already planning our next stay

Had a lovely relaxing week, it provided everything we required.. Fantastic location for walkers and outward bound activities. The lodge is very secluded even though on a lodge park. The views are definitely incredible, the decking area is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy them. As there is no light pollution and we were lucky with clear skies, the night skies were incredible.

The view and location were outstanding, slightly hidden away from the rest of the site, which gave great privacy.. No neighbours to overlook. The site and lodge was very clean and tidy. The only small issue was that there was only one 'bathroom' with a sink. The 2nd shower room only had a WC and Shower. Not an issue as there was only 3 of us. The beds were comfortable and clean.

The property was the perfect size for my family. The beds were comfortable and there was loads of space. The patio has an absolutely superb view over the Dovey estuary which just took everybody's breath away and drew nearly 100 likes from friends on Facebook.

This property is worth the stay just for the views, they're amazing - the best in Aberdovey. Quiet peaceful sanctuary and for me the best position on the site.

The lodge was so quiet and private. It was advertised as dog friendly and we have two young dogs and it was brilliant for us. The furnishings in the living areas were very clean and comfortable but serviceable for pets..The bedrooms were light, airy and very spacious with lovely fresh bed linen and towels.

The holiday cabin was situated in an amazing position. The view from the balcony was outstanding and one of the most private holiday cabins we have ever stayed in. The view was worth the cost of the cabin on it's own, the comfortable cabin a bonus.

It was a breathtaking first walk onto the decking. Everything was perfect. Aberdovey and the nearby beaches were ideal for children. We managed a short walk and there were masses of paths to choose from. Aberdovey golf course was very special.

This was a lovely place to stay and the weather was perfect. If we did not have our grandchildren with us, we would have happily stayed at Pentref all day as there was everything you needed indoors and the decking was perfect with such amazing views. We found Aberdovey had a lovely beach and we all enjoyed crab fishing off the jetty.

The location of the property was excellent as was the property itself. Although the weather was not particularly great we still found plenty to do, especially the visit to King Arthurs Labrynth which was close by. I would recommend both the lodge and location to anyone.

Aberdovey is a lovely place the lodge was in an excellent location, and the fixtures and fittings within the lodge are of a very high standard. We had wonderful weather and the balcony was to die for sitting outside barbecueing eating and drinking, with a wonderful view. The lodge is so spacious and was home from home.
