Lovely setting, everything in the cottage was new and spotlessly clean.. photos didn't do it justice. Wifi a bit hit and miss unless stood by the entrance, wasn't a real issue as only there for a short break but could be for others if there longer or like us with teenagers!! would love to return!

This place is perfect for a relaxing break.. Its isolated so you feel you can relax completely but the owners are always on hand should you need anything. We took my mum here with my two sisters, the snow hit us on day one & the place seemed magical. When we checked out we had trouble getting the car out & the owner came to the rescue. Fab place!

We had the most amazing time for New Year, so much so we have booked again for New year 2019.. The house is absolutely beautiful, immaculate condition with the highest standards of cleanliness. The hot tub is the best added bonus, we was allowed to let off fireworks to bring in the new year. Everything we needed was available and provided from a high chair to 2 cot beds. The scenery was amazing. Julie and Gareth have created such a beautiful house to make your stay so memorable and perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay here and we are already excited to be back for New Year 2019. Thankyou :) x

Although we enjoyed the location and it was perfect for us, I do think the listing should indicate how remote the location is.. It may not be to some people’s liking. However, we loved the cottage and would defiantly stay again.

This was the most incredible holiday, the reviews, pictures until now do not do this property or it's owners justice.. The views are stunning and it is really in the middle of nowhere! The place was sparkling clean - we usually leave cottages cleaner than when we arrived but this was hard to do!!! The hot tub was as clean as anything and worked perfectly, the surrounding area is packed with walks and things to do and next time we will stay for longer. The owners were always there to help if needed or just chat yet only came when asked. Julie and her family are lovely people, and have wonderful kids. Gareth is fun to talk to and speak about farming, checking on the water and chlorine levels daily (which means driving 7 min from his home to sort it out)!! Horse riding in the area was amazing and the kids loved the quad bike bonus! CAn't wait to return here with my family again... Lollu, Soro Dina, Malky, Tova, Bathseva, AZ, and Levi HIBBERT.

The cottage was great very clean and finished to a high standard.. However the hot tub water hadn't been changed from the previous guests and wasn't maintained daily as advertised which put us off using it. However we really enjoyed the stay and would return if more effort was put into the hot tub hygiene.

Pentra Fach was absolutely beautiful.. The cottage itself was of the highest standard. The hosts haven’t cut corners on anything. The hot tub exceeded our expectations and muchnof our weekend was spent relaxing and enjoying the views in it. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and they made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to book again for next year! Pentra Fach was a brilliant find and we will definitely be recommending it to family and friends.

The barn conversion is set in a beautiful part of the country.. The owners are very helpful and fantastic hosts who work extremely hard to maintain the cleanliness of this and other accomodations. The accomodation has fantastic views and clearly no expense has been spared to create a highly modern propery but with the quirkiness of a barn conversion. Will be going back again soon as for me the best thing about this place is the views and tranquility which all should experience. We went with a party of 6. 3 adults and 3 children all who thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the 7 nights. As I said earlier the cleanlines of the property is very high and I thoroughly recommend this fantastic accomodation to anyone who wants a little bit of peace and quiet. However do drive slowly down the lanes as the sheep can be stubborn and dont wanna move...... my kids thought this was funny as did we all. Hope whoever goes has as good a time as we did

Considerate, attentive hosts, lovely property, central location, exquisite scenery - a lucky find! We were the first guests in this newly converted property and Julie and Gareth made us feel very welcome and shared their local knowledge like we were family, though we’re not!
