Pennylands Hill View Lodge is a detached timber lodge, set in three acres within the grounds of the owners' B&B, with fabulous views over this unspoilt part of Worcestershire just outside the delightful Cotswold village of Broadway, and has been featured on the Home Channel TV programme, 'My Flatpack Home'. The single storey cottage has two double bedrooms (one of them with a king-size bed which can be a twin on request), and a shower room making it ideal for two couples. The cottage also boasts an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner-effect electric fire. Outside the lodge is a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as plenty of secure parking and bike storage. Being located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold countryside, Pennylands Hill View Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday. Note: Children up to 6 months or over 12 years only. Note: No worker bookings accepted.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x Twin 2x Single beds. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire.

The village of Broadway is known as 'The Jewel of the Cotswolds' and nestles beneath the Worcestershire hills. One of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds, Broadway offers a superb range of shops, top class galleries, restaurants and hotels but is also steeped in history with its origins dating back to Roman times. The Lygon Arms has been popular for centuries, and now spa facilities can be enjoyed at pre-arranged times. Broadway serves as a great base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounds with Stratford Upon Avon, Cheltenham Spa and Worcester within easy reach. With an abundance of National Trust properties, museums, beautiful walks and cycle trails this really is a great place for a relaxing holiday, all year round.

We had a lovely time at Pennylands.. Both Judi and Glen were very welcoming. The cake and milk settled us in after our journey. Our little dog enjoyed her treats too. A lovely clean and well equipped lodge in an ideal spot for visitors the Cotswolds. We definitely want to visit again.

The log cabin is in a lovely location over looking the beautiful countryside.. It is very well equipped home from home. Very comfortable and well planned out to make the most of this beautiful cabin. The owners where very helpful and friendly the carrot cake and milk very much appreciated following our journey so nice to sit down and relax straight away. You would not think that you were in someone's back garden very peaceful and relaxing. You should be very proud of yourselves thank you.

These 2lodges are in a lovely position with superb views.. They had everything you may need and if you needed anything else the couple were very happy to help. The steam train station was literally just down the road, then approx another half mile into Broadway. It is a great central place to stay with so many quaint places to visit around the Cotswolds.

Had a great time at pennylands , the cottage was very well kept with all amenities , the large green enclosed area facing the cottage was an extra bonus for our dog, great way to unwind and relax, short walking distance from broadway.. . town, and a 15 min drive to all the nearby supermarkets and food joints.

We had an excellent stay at Pennylands.. Have visited this lodge before and will certainly have no hesitation in returning again. Lovely hosts and very comfortable home from home. We had a lovely stay here.. The lodge was a home from home, the owners had thought of everything. Ideally located for access to all the great places to see and yet is so quiet and peaceful. The owners are so lovely, they make you feel welcome. I liked their sofa chairs so much I'm going to find some for my lounge! It was the little touches that made our stay so good and I will remember that lovely view from the window each time I look back on our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hill View Lodge.. The lodge was spotless and everything was provided that we could wish for, even a carrot cake ! Broadway was lovely (steam railway within walking distance) and close to lots of other lovely villages and towns. Would love to return.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday.. Everything was perfect(even the weather),although it was too hot at times and we could have done with fans in the lodge. We spent most evenings sat outside taking in the beautiful scenery. We were well placed for getting into Broadway and surrounding area,and we would recommend a trip in the steam railway. The owners were really friendly and helpful and we will certainly return in the future.

The Cotswolds are a perfect place for walking experiences, as well as for cultural trips to Bath, Gloucester, Oxford and Stratford.. And this beautiful cottage in Broadway with extraordinary friendly owners is the perfect place in the middle of it.

To describe this lodge as being in the owners back garden is confusing as it is away from the house and has access to 3 acres of grassed area.. The owners were very helpful but not intrusive.

We loved the position of the Lodge as it was ideal for touring. The garden was great for our dog who did not want to come home! The Lodge was very warm and cosy. It was very peaceful and quiet. If you want a nice quiet holiday you can't do much better. We are hoping to be back next year.

The owners were great hosts, always available but never intrusive. The chalet was described as being in the owners garden, this meant it was hidden from the road and felt very secure. Although there appeared to be little room for food storage this was outweighed by the provision of a fridge, separate deep freeze, dishwasher and washing machine. The chalet had a good sized verandah, an ideal place to take breakfast and supper whilst watching the rabbits playing on the large grass area. The attractive village of Broadway was walking distance (1 mile) and well worth a visit. An internet connection is provided and worked very well.

We found the cabin light, spacious and warm with lovely views, very relaxing having an early evening drink on the deck watching the squirrels, rabbits, woodpeckers and pheasant. The owners were helpful with information on the area, only 10 mins walk into Broadway and very accessible to many National Trust and other historical properties. We walked to Broadway Tower; very interesting with beautiful views and a very good cafe.

The location was excellent. We were able to visit the gardens and other attractions without needing to travel a long distance. The location of the Lodge was on a main road but lower than the road so traffic noise was not heard. A very peaceful place to enjoy a drink on the Lodges deck. We would probably visit again in the future.
