Hi the cottage and owners was fantastic no complaints at all however sykes the company exploited covid when I had to rebook due to lick down they refused to refund me then charged me more to re book after lockdown I hope the cottage owners use a different agency as I would like to stay there again but I won't use sykes again

We absolutely loved this cottage.. It is so gorgeous and unique, in a beautiful location, right in the centre of Ingleton, next to the river. The cottage was immaculately clean and you could tell that extra covid cleaning had taken place. It had all the kitchen utentsils that we needed, plus all the cleaning items and toiletries that we needed also. The towels are super soft. We were disappointed with the poor wifi connection which meant you could only get connection sitting in bed or under the coat hooks. Yorkist range is an extra treat with a good supply of free kindling/coal to set you off and then option to purchase more. Would definitely book it again.

We arrived late on the Friday and found it challenging to find the property.. After arriving at post code it wasn't obvious where the property was located. We drove around asking people but it took the 4th attempt to find someone who knew the location. In the middle of driving around I rang the owner but no answer? I suggest an added explanation on directions would be hugely appreciated by users. I know many people would not be watching TV but after a busy day and settling in for night a larger TV or at least one that the picture was clear when sitting down on sofa would be great. The heating went off on the Saturday night, after knocking on owner, a plumber was brought around and the heating was on. We had no follow up asking if ok and honestly the heating was useless, never warmed the cottage to a satisfactory heat nor the water to a hot temperature and we ended up leaving a day early. Suggest a new boiler or serviced the answer.

Beautiful cottage, in a beautiful town, but it needs some tlc.. The frying pans are not fit for use, they are scratched to pieces, the sofa is stained and the left recliner is broken. The heating and hot water isn't warm enough. Theres a sign saying no dogs upstairs, the booking did not say that, we would not have booked there if we had known. We struggled to find parking twice during our stay. The TV is the smallest TV I have ever seen and the remote doesn't work properly. It's also positioned so that if you're laying on the sofa you cant see the screen properly. The fridge door didn't shut properly, but the owner fixed that when we asked. The radiator in the bedroom didn't work, but the owner had that fixed when we asked. But the main issue for us was that the WIFI didn't work downstairs. Mobile data is also non existent so planning our days out and routes for the next day was impossible. We asked 3 times for this to be rectified, but apparently this wasn't an issue before we arrived...

Stayed here as a solo-traveller looking for a base from which to walk/run in the Three Peaks area. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and I'd happily return. The cottage is compact but very well furnished, and well laid out with plenty of storage space. Looks like a lot of time and effort has been put into the accommodation, so the charming character from the age of the property is complemented by modern, functional, comfortable and clean facilities - with a notably well equipped kitchen. I wouldn't call these faults, but if you want a shower cubicle, strong wi-fi, and cinematic TV then this probably isn't the place to stay, but these weren't issues for myself. Dealing with the owner Lizzie was straigtforward, getting access to the property simple and the on-road parking 50 yard away was fine for me.

Fantastically situated period cottage, big enough for two of us and our large lab! Everything you could possibly want is provided and provisions for and the open fire was so timely, given we went during the freezing weather. The reclining sofa helped to comfortably recover after long walks and the Co-op is handily two mins walk away. We can really recommend the Dalton pub on the A65, good food, lovely friendly staff and very warm welcome. Lizzie was friendly but not intrusive. We really recommend this cottage.

We stayed in this well equipped quaint cottage to visit the beautiful village of ingleton and do the waterfall walk. This cottage is only minutes away from the waterfall walk so it's ideal. The cottage is full of character, lots of nice detail and finer touches, perfect for a couple's trip away, close to a co-op and good pubs. Gareth and Lizzie were very welcoming and were full of helpful knowledge of the local area. We had a fantastic time in this cottage and would recommend it to anybody.

Stayed in this small but adequate cottage in Ingleton with everything we could need , cottage sleeps two and we took along dougal the dog , Very central for all our needs we walked everyday ,and enjoyed full week of sun shine , No garden for the dog but as we was out didn't need it , you can sit out the front chairs etc provided but you will feel a bit exposed , Not very good signal but we didn't come away for that so if you want the peace and so time away great place to be

My own criticism of the cottage would be that the television is too small..

Paul's fold was a welcome place to stay for our trip up to the Yorkshire Dales. It's set in a lovely location, very close to the open air swimming pool and a flowing river right behind it, which is very picturesque. Everything is on it's doorstep! There's a co-op just up the road and a lovely restaurant/bar called The Old Post Office. The owner was very helpful in swapping the duvet, which was too thick for the weather! The only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars is the poor wi-fi which can only be used in the bedroom, and the lack of a fixed shower.

Just returned from a lovely week staying at this quirky well equipped and positioned cottage. The owners have crammed in a lot of features to this tiny cottage and is very impressive. Quirky means lovely but has some character and odd bits too. And the wood burning fire/stove is impressive along with the central heating keeping the place warm as toast. Recliner sofa! Jacuzzi bath! Positioned next to the river and only about 50 yards from hidden outdoor heated swimming pool! So every whim available after a long day out in the dales. The WiFi reception works best lying in bed so you can upload your daily pics on to fb or whatever while falling asleep ha. Don't put too much bubble bath in before activating jacuzzi as you will end up in a foam party! But great to ease those aching limbs and the end of the day. A well behaved dog is allowed to stay too in the lounge area. Ingleton has a very warm welcoming feel and this cottage fits in with that charm. Nice little shops and excellent home made fish cakes at the chippie! Syaying here with leave you with great memories.

I stayed in this well equipped and warm comfortable cottage for four nights and very much enjoyed my stay. Every facility you can think of is provided and while I did eat out I also cooked in the cottage and enjoyed this. The owners Lizzie and Gareth Williams live next door and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. You have a five minute walk to the centre of Ingleton village and a car journey of approximately thirty minutes will take you to the south lakes. An ideal location for a break in lovely countryside and a vast choice of outdoor pursuits available to you.
