Everyone loved staying here - family of 5 and two active dogs.
Loved the touches of food hamper, treats for the dogs, throws for the furniture, lovely outdoor space to play in. Jacuzzi and Sauna simply first class, as was all the equipment in the kitchen.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners when we contacted them. Such a lovely stay and thank you so much.

We've just returned from a 4 night stay at this fabulous property as a group of 6 adults. Originally booked for my partners 50th Oct 2020 so it was long overdue because of Covid. The attention to detail is second to none and everything is finished to an extremely high standard. The views and surroundings are amazing and so peaceful. Jo and Giles have made the best of each space, the hot tub, sauna and games room are fabulous, the games room is the best We've ever seen, a pool table, table tennis, 80s retro games, dart board, table tennis, all fabulous Thank you so much Jo & Giles, we're already planning our next visit in June 2022 so we can enjoy more of the outside space in the nicer weather and lighter evenings. From Jo, Carl, Jan, Phil, Zoe & Jay, 6 very happy customers

We stayed here for a week in August 2020 with our 2 children and dog. The owners of this property have literally thought of everything. So many fabulous little touches such as dog towels, treats, bowls and throws to protect the furniture. The selection of indoor and outdoor games was far superior to anywhere we have stayed too, even a full badminton set with net, swingball, croquet set etc and lots of board and card games.
The sauna and hot tub and fabulous and the views from the hot tub are amazing. Really lovely to be provided with towels and robes too.
We absolutely loved the games room, due to covid it was on a rota basis every other day with the cottage next door but we actually really enjoyed having sole use of it. It made it such a fabulous time and we can only apologies to the other residents for our bad karaoke skills!
We also used the dog sitting service and our Labrador had a great day.
For eating out in the area we highly recommended The Jervis Arms and The Lazy Trout.
They really have thought of everything and you really don’t need to bring anything other than your clothes. A lovely relaxing week away and we will definitely book again.

Situated on the edge of the Peak District, ideal to explore the peaks, Parlour barn is a breath taking place to stay, The decor and furnishings are of an extremely high standard even down to providing dog treats for our dogs, it was a pleasure to stay in and cook!!!, in the well equipped kitchen. With the added extras of a lovely hot tub , sauna and games room that our husbands called their man cave. The Clarks were very helpful even ringing the pub we had booked for Mother’s Day and then offering an alternative. We cannot wait to go back taking our families with us.

Amazing house, beautifully presented. We received a basket of goodies on arrival which was a lovely touch. The owners communicated well with us prior to our stay regarding key collection and directions, making the whole process stress free. The facilities were absolutely fantastic! We had a private sauna and hot tub, and access to the shared games room which was so unique and so much fun to use. So much thought has gone into making this place special. Myself and my friends hope to make this an annual visit and wouldn't think of going anywhere else!
Thank you so much!!
