Nice apartment, well equipped, but there is a downside; it is presented as a 2-room apartment, while the so-called second room is a messalina open to the living room and a fairly steep staircase to access it. Here is the wording of the ad description: "Upper floor: open with 1 double bed" For me this is misleading to say the least.

good accommodation right on the lake (separated only by a road). very nice for swimming and stand up paddling. the town center can be reached by a 15-minute walk. top grottos and restaurants to eat (e.g. grotto valle or ristorante taverna dei pescatori). any time!

Since the apartment is spread over 2 floors, it is even big enough for 4 people. The 2 balconies are comfortable, the whole area is spacious and you feel very comfortable. The location is simply sensational, you live quietly, there is a fast train connection to Lugano every 15 minutes and you live right on the lake, what more could you want!

The booking went smoothly. One point that caused astonishment was the payment. You have set a specific date for payment. Already 2 days before the specified date we were informed in a letter that the payment was still outstanding. It would be appropriate that they would send out the first dunning notices/reminders no earlier than a few days after the date.

The apartment has everything you need and is clean and nicely furnished. The location is absolutely great, the lake for swimming is right in front of the house. There is a restaurant in the house if you don't want to cook, which is also great.

Between 1992 and 2008 we often stayed at the Parcolago residence. Not much has changed and we immediately felt comfortable again. The surrounding area offers a lot. The facility with a large sunbathing lawn and lake frontage is fantastic. The apartment is not modern but clean and functional. Only the heat at night on the upper floor of the apartment was uncomfortable in between. We were able to park the car in the parking garage with direct access to the house and carry luggage with trolleys via the elevator. We'd love to come back.
